The world’s had a difficult time over the last year and rainbows are a lovely symbol of hope. They can mean all sorts of wonderful things – marches for peace, support for the NHS, LGBTQ Pride, embracing diversity in general – and that if we work together there’s a better future somewhere ahead.
I thought rainbows would be the perfect theme for the Easter Bonnets this year. We could all do with a bit of hope as well as a laugh. The Easter Pawrade is a chance to get together and have a whole pile of fun, but at a deeper level it’s also about friendship and caring and appreciating what each of us bring to our virtual space.
